Principal photography for our newest film, The Ghosts of Johnson Woods, has been completed. The film stars long-time film and TV legend Joe Bob Briggs, as well as Matt Goosherst, Haidyn Harvey, and Kasha Fauscett. The film is slated for a 2015 release. June 15, 2014

We’re proud to announce that the legendary film critic and actor Joe Bob Briggs has just reached a verbal agreement with Driving With Our Eyes Shut to appear in our next film, the psychological thriller The Ghosts of Johnson Woods. Filming commences in May, and we’re shooting to have the finished product ready for theatrical and film festival release before the year is through. April 2, 2014

We are currently in pre-production for our next film, the psychological thriller The Ghosts of Johnson Woods. Already cast in the film are Driving With Our Eyes Shut veterans Haidyn Harvey (To Die is Hard and The Worst Movie EVER!), Matt “Goose” Goosherst (Midget Zombie Takeover), and Kasha Fauscett (The Worst Movie EVER!). Filming is slated to commence in May. February 27, 2014

The filming of Midget Zombie Takeover was completed this weekend. We're aiming to have the edit of the film completed by December. Shooting begins August third on our next film, the mumblecore film titled The Ghosts of Johnson Woods. Starring Matt Goosherst and Haidyn Harvey, The Ghosts of Johnson Woods will be a film that is different from any other film we've done before. July 8, 2012

The Worst Movie EVER! will be shown at the Alamo Drafthouse in Winchester, Virginia, on Thursday, June 14. The comedy troupe The Popular Outcasts will riff on the film live in Mystery Science Theater 3000 style. Filmmaker Glenn Berggoetz will be in attendance to do a Q&A with the crowd after the screening. Also, we're gearing up for the filming of our newest film, Little Zombie Takeover. Production begins on June 23. June 10, 2012

The Worst Movie EVER! is making a return engagement to the Alamo Drafthouse Theater in Winchester, Virginia, on June 14. The screening will be something special as the comedy troupe The Popular Outcasts will riff on the film as it screens while attendees will be able to text their comments about the film as it's screening and their texts will appear on screen. In addition, writer/director Glenn Berggoetz will be in attendance to do a Q&A with fans after the show. It should be a crazy night! Driving With Our Eyes Shut is now in pre-production on its next two films, both of which will be shot this summer/fall. One of the films falls into the emerging mumblecore genre while the other one is a zombie film. Casting for the films will begin soon. April 17, 2012

The Worst Movie EVER! is screening in LA at the Laemmle Sunset 5 at midnight on August 19 and 20. It’s also going to be shown on August 31 at 11 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse Theater in Winchester, Virginia. A deal has also been reached for the film to be syndicated nationwide, so look for it on a TV station in your market in the coming weeks. August 18, 2011

To Die is Hard will see its theatrical release this Friday and Saturday at The Lyric Cinema & Cafe in Fort Collins, Colorado. We’re very excited to see the film hit the theaters, and it’s already been booked into multiple other independent theaters after the first of the year. We’re also thrilled with how the screening of The Worst Movie EVER! went on Saturday. The response was fantastic. We’ve already had multiple distributors call to see about acquiring the rights to the film, but we haven’t signed with anyone yet. December 14, 2010

Our comedic feature film Separate Checks has just been completed. The distribution company Trillian Entertainment is currently considering adding it to their catalog to go along with the other Driving With Our Eyes Shut films they already represent. November 2, 2010

The Cinema Center, an independent theater in Fort Wayne, Indiana, will be giving To Die is Hard a run sometime in November. We are thrilled with this news. Our efforts to place To Die is Hard with other independent theaters from around the country continues. On another front, we are well into production on our newest film, The Worst Movie EVER! All is going great with the film, and the shoot is scheduled to be completed this weekend. September 9, 2010

We are thrilled to announce that Trillian Entertainment has agreed to be the distributor of our most recent feature film, Evil Intent. Trillian will be looking to package Evil Intent with the two other feature films of ours they are distributing, Therapissed and To Die is Hard. The screening of To Die is Hard at The Film Festival of Colorado went great. We had a good crowd, and the people in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the film. A North American pay-per-view and on-demand deal is in the works for Therapissed. In addition, the initial response to To Die is Hard has been fantastic, and Trillian Entertainment, the distributor for the film, is busy putting together a deal for it. February 7, 2010

Trillian Entertainment, the distributor for Therapissed, is currently working on selling the film to European markets at the International Film Market MIPCOM in Cannes, France. Hopefully we’ll get some good news out of MIPCOM leading into the American Film Market in Los Angeles in November where Trillian will be seeking a domestic deal for the film. October 8, 2009

A rough edit of Separate Checks has been finished, and the film is even better than we hoped it would be. The performances by Libby Baker and Greg Nemer are fantastic. We hope to have the film in the final edit stage by the first of the year so we can start shopping it around. September 17, 2009

Principle photography has wrapped on To Die is Hard. We are thrilled with how the shoot went and are looking forward to having the film ready for the American Film Market in Los Angeles in November. We plan to hold a screening for the film sometime in late October or early November. September 6, 2009

Photography on To Die is Hard has nearly wrapped, and the shoot has gone better than we ever could have imagined. There is one fantastic performance after another in front of the camera, and the crew work was utterly superb. As soon as the edit is complete we will be shipping the film off to Trillian Entertainment (who is the distributor for Therapissed) for their consideration. Hopefully the film will be ready in time for the American Film Market in November in Los Angeles. August 25, 2009

The first day of shooting To Die is Hard went beautifully. We got a lot of excellent footage and covered a lot of material. The shoot is scheduled to wrap in the next couple weeks. August 10, 2009

We have moved into pre-production on To Die is Hard, a feature-length film that lampoons the action film genre. We hope to shoot by early fall and have this film ready for distribution in 2010. July 9, 2009

The trailer for Therapissed generated a lot of interest at DISCOP in Budapest among multiple Eastern European buyers. We should know within a few weeks if the film will be getting a theatrical release in Europe. June 30, 2009

Principal photography for Evil Intent has wrapped. While the film is deep into the editing stage, a few extra scenes were shot to round out the film. Once the final edit is complete, we will begin shopping the film around to distribution companies. June 5, 2009

Comedy Central has requested the pilot episode of our sketch comedy show Driving With Our Eyes Shut for consideration. Filming for the show wrapped up last year, and the pilot is in the editing stage. As soon as it’s ready, we’ll be sending it on to Comedy Central. January 16, 2009

Glenn Berggoetz has been invited to attend an investors’ party being held by Enlightenment Films. Enlightenment Films would like to produce Waiting for Evening to Come, and they are bringing together potential investors in the film to try to raise the millions of dollars needed to produce this film. January 8, 2009

Our Stories Films has requested the scripts for You Da Man and The Secret Thoughts of Waiters. Our Stories Films was the production company behind Who’s Your Caddy? Also, Black Cat Productions out of Canada has requested the script for The Secret Thoughts of Waiters. Check back for updates on whether either of these production companies purchases either script. Negotiations have taken place with Michael Zanuck of the Michael Zanuck Agency regarding representation of some of our scripts. Zanuck is also interested in trying to secure a distribution deal for us when our feature films have reached the final edit stage. December 6, 2008

Talks have taken place with multiple chambers of commerce who are interested in having Waiting for Evening to Come shot in their communities. As of right now Brush, Colorado, and Kimball, Nebraska, are both looking quite promising and could wind up being the location for the shoot. Other communities are still being considered. Discussions are ongoing as we line up investors for Waiting for Evening to Come. We have also had numerous cast and crew members from not only here in Colorado but also from Hollywood express interest in being part of this film. We’re very excited about this film’s future and are looking forward to moving it to the production stage. November 20, 2008

A screening of a rough cut of the pilot for Driving With Our Eyes Shut drew a great response. This rough cut included only a fraction of the sketches that were shot, so we’re very excited at what the final edit will look like. November 6, 2008

Principal photography for Separate Checks wrapped this past week. Greg Nemer and Libby Baker provided outstanding performances, and a 2009 release date is anticipated for the film. October 28, 2008

Conversations are in full swing with various agents and potential investors for Waiting for Evening to Come. We have also received a lot of positive feedback from some small towns who would like to have the film shot in their communities, so we should have multiple wonderful areas to pick from once production begins. The response to the script Waiting for Evening to Come has been fantastic. Multiple agents have contacted us about either attaching their client to the film to play the leading role, or about possibly taking on the script for representation. We are proud to announce the acquisition of the dramatic feature film script Someone Else’s Past. This script contains two dramatic, shocking twists in the last act that will have viewers of the film (once it’s produced) talking for weeks. September 11, 2008

With the great response that Guernica Still Burning has received in its screenings, we have decided to submit it to the Sundance Film Festival. In addition, in the past week two independent theaters have requested a copy of Guernica for consideration in giving it a theatrical run. August 22, 2008
